Official Howard County criminal records come from the government office that keeps each file. This private reference site does not retrieve or change records. The contacts below route sheriff reports, local custody questions, statewide histories, and filed court cases to the Howard County or Nebraska custodian responsible for them.

This Is Not a Government Office. This privately run reference site cannot retrieve criminal records, conduct official background checks, correct or remove a record, or receive sealing, set-aside, or expungement filings. Those services must come from the responsible government office.

Need an Official Record?

Use the custodian that created or maintains the Howard County record:

  • Sheriff reports, booking, and local custody: contact the Howard County Sheriff's Office
  • Filed criminal cases: use Howard County criminal court records or call the County or District Court clerk
  • Nebraska criminal histories: order from the Nebraska State Patrol, Criminal Identification Division
  • Police incident reports: request the record from the agency that created it
  • Official state checks: follow the Nebraska State Patrol's name-based or purpose-specific fingerprint process
  • Set-asides, sealing, or narrow expungement filings: contact the court that handled the original matter
